The beginning of the Marian Era, as this era in which we live is known, came to have a place with the apparition of the Virgin in the year 1830 to Saint Catherine Labouré, to whom she revealed the Miraculous Medal, the apparition in which the Blessed Virgin gave the Church the great gift of 1 of the most important Marian sacramentals.

The First Stage: Year 1944 and 1949

Before the apparitions of the Virgin occur, this woman named Pierina receives the grace of being visited by the Holy Foundress of the Congregation called “Servants of Charity”, it was at that very moment that Blessed Mary Crucified of the Rose, in which she had come to enter as a postulant.

A supposed “Lady” had given the little white cup to Santa María Crucificado de la Rosa with a little oil that had the great property of healing.

November 23 to 24, 1945: First Apparition of the Virgin of the Swords

On June 1, 1947:

Pierina reports that she had a great vision of hell where she was able to observe, in about 3 different sections, about 3 categories of religious, consecrated souls and priests that came to correspond to the 3 swords of the vision and also to the 3 intentions for which they had to come to offer their prayers as well as the sacrifices.

Pierina asked for a miracle and the Virgin told her

“I’m not going to do any kind of external miracle. The most obvious miracle is going to happen when these consecrated souls who for a long time, and especially during the war period, have become so relaxed in spirit almost to the point of being able to betray their vocation and thus attract with their severe blame, punishments and persecutions, as is currently the case against the Church.

They will cease seriously offending Our Lord and will revive the primitive spirit of the Holy Founders.

The Precursor of the Second Vatican Council: This last sentence reads as follows:

“they will revive the primitive spirit of the Holy Founders”.

It is what reminds many of the same words with which the Church, in the Second Vatican Council, addressed the religious in its document entitled “Perectae caritatis”.

First Apparition in the Cathedral of Montichiari: November 16, 1947

The virgin tells Pierina the following:

“Our Lord, My divine Son Jesus, is tired of receiving great offenses from men for sins against purity. He wanted to send a deluge of punishments. I have intervened so that he may still have Mercy, for which I ask for prayer and penance in reparation for these sins.”

“If you are generous you will obtain greater Graces for everyone.”

Second Apparition in the Cathedral of Montichiari: November 22, 1947

In her second appearance, the virgin comes to give the following message:

“I descend in this place because here they will make great conversions.”

“At this time the Christians of your Italian nation are the ones who most offend Our Lord, my Divine Son, with sins against holy purity. That is why the Lord asks you for prayer and generosity in the sacrifices”.

“Prayer”

Third Apparition in the Cathedral of Montichiari: December 7, 1947

On December 7, 1947, in the Montichiari Cathedral, the Virgin appeared to Pierina with an open white mantle, and it was held up on each side with the help of a child and a girl, the boy was dressed in white clothes, the girl also with her forehead and head girded with a white ribbon, with her abundant hair thrown on her back, giving a greater enhancement to her angelic beauty as a girl.

The virgin tells Pierina the following:

“However, much prayer and generosity in sacrifice is still required on your part. Tomorrow I will come at noon and I will let you see a very small part of Paradise… However, I want from you the sacrifice of having your eyes closed so that you join the other souls who live only by faith. Also tomorrow I will let My Immaculate Heart be seen, which is very little known by men.

The Virgin remained totally silent… Pierina asked her about the children who accompanied her and the Virgin replied:

“They are Jacinta and Francisco, they are also going to be your companions in every tribulation. They too have come to suffer, even though they are smaller than you.”

His relationship with Fatima:

Fourth and Last Apparition in the Cathedral of Montichiari: December 8, 1947

The fourth apparition of the Rosa Mystica was at the feast of the Immaculate Conception. The virgin appears dressed in white, all splendid, with her hands together, on top of a very large staircase, adorned with a large number of roses. Pierina looked at her mother when she says:

“I am the Immaculate Conception!”

With great majesty he also affirmed:

“I am María de la Gracia, that is, the full of Grace, Mother of my Divine Son Jesus Christ”.

“Look at this heart that loves men so much, while the vast majority of them fill it with vituperations.”

Then he was silent for a few seconds and continued saying:

“If all, good and bad, unite in prayer, they will obtain mercy and peace from this heart. The good ones have just reached through my mediation the mercy of the Lord, who withheld a great punishment. Soon the efficacious greatness of this hour of grace will be known.”

The words of the Virgin where she says:

“Look at this heart that loves men so much, while most of them fill it with vituperations.”

It is the one that many of the scholars remember as the call of the Heart of Jesus to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque when He himself complained to her with very similar words about ingratitude, coldness and also the contempt that He receives from men. .

Noticing that the resplendent Lady was going to move away from her presence, Pierina implored her with strong conviction:

“Oh beautiful and beloved Mother of God, I thank you! Bless the whole world especially the Holy Father, the priests, religious and sinners”.

So she simply pleased him with her pleasant voice:

“I have prepared an overabundance of grace for all those children who listen to my voice and take my wishes to heart.”

With these words, Pierina’s vision ended.

Long Waiting Period

After her appearances in the Cathedral, Pierina stayed for about 19 years with the Franciscan Nuns of the Lily in the areas of Brescia, serving as a nurse. The illnesses that attacked her became diverse.

Pierina was not to become a nun, but simply to live in the convent in perfect obedience, always following the advice of the spiritual father of the seminary. During this time, she came to have the consolation and advice of St. Mary Crucified of the Rose, who was the one who frequently appeared to her on various occasions.

The Second Stage: Year 1960 and 1966

The apparitions at Fontanelle began on February 27, 1966. Relationship of the Mystic Rose with Divine Mercy

There is a relationship between the Mystic Rose and Divine Mercy. It can be seen how, in the Lady’s messages, she frequently mentions her intervention so that the Lord may be the one to pour out his mercy on all men in the entire world. The apparition in the Fontanelle region on April 17, 1966 becomes very illuminating in this regard.

The Virgin came to host the second Sunday after Easter and, as is well known, Jesus asked Saint Mary Faustina to establish the Feast of Divine Mercy on the 2nd Sunday of Easter. This means that María Rosa Mística appeared on Divine Mercy Sunday to do what? It is what many will ask.

The answer is that he did it to bless a fountain that was going to become from that precise moment a “Fountain of Grace”. The Merciful Heart of Jesus consists of the source from which the Water and also the Blood sprout, which is what gives us the grace of salvation and redemption.

The Lord, through the Most Holy Virgin, comes to bless this well-known source so that through it it may be poured out on all men as well as the graces of his redemption and his love.

Pierina was praying the rosary walking along the road, a short distance from the grotto. Around noon, the seer descended from her back and at the same time kneeling from her and the Virgin followed her and pointed with her left hand to the precise point where the work should be placed. She saying the following:

“May the sick and all my children ask my divine Son for forgiveness first and foremost. Kiss the cross with much love and then draw water from the fountain and drink”.

“It is necessary that all my children know the wishes of my Son Jesus, communicated in 1947 and the messages that I gave in the Church of Montichiari. I wish that the sick and all my children go to this miraculous source. Your mission is in this place in the midst of the sick and those who need your help.

This came to be a conversation the Mystic Rose had with Pierina in her first appearance through a vision this woman had who later became known as the seer Pierina.

The Mother of God Repeated: “I wish that the Sick and all my children, come here to the Fountain of Grace”

On May 13, 1966, the second apparition occurs in the Fontanelle region. The Virgin came to choose the anniversary of the apparitions in Fatima to be able to manifest herself again to the seer named Pierina Gilli next to the fountain, at about 11:40 am. About 20 people had gathered at the scene. Here is the conversation that ensued:

Pierina came to live from 1918 to 1922 in the orphanage of the Servants of Charity, where, at the age of 8, she received her first communion. At the age of 11, already in the 4th grade of elementary school, she had to return home to live with her mother who had gotten married, that is, she had remarried and had new siblings. which required the care of his older sister.

When Pierina is already 12 years old, poverty is what forces her family to have to move to a little shack, dividing the family with another. It was at this same time that she first felt what is known as the call to religious life.

At the age of 16, she went to work in an establishment, through which she went through various crises where she was dominated by vanities, and which came to be helped by the strong advice of the father confessor, which made her manage to overcome all those crises and He made the decision to be totally of God.

At the age of 18, she went to work at the Asilo Comunal as part of a children’s assistant. A good young man came to propose marriage to her, however, she felt that marriage was not her vocation, since she only felt that the Lord wanted her only for himself.

At the age of 20, it was when she confirmed her vocation, entering the convent of the sisters “Siervas de la Caridad”. However, in that place he came to suffer from pleurisy, which prevented him from being a postulant, so he had to leave the convent. She later found work in the town of Carpenédolo as caretaker of the services of the parish house of Fr. José Brochini, where she stayed until she was 26 years old.

She came to spend about 2 years as an employee in Brescia, at the Villa Blanca Health House. When she was 29 years old, she began to work at the Civil Hospital of Desenzano del Garda, under the care of the Servants of Charity, where she remained for about 4 years with great tranquility.

At the age of 32, in the month of April 1944, she entered again as a postulant in the convent of the sisters “Siervas de la Caridad”. With 33 years of age, in the month of December of the year 1944, exactly 7 months after having entered the convent, he begins to turn with a very severe ailment.

This time it was meningitis. This is when the first phase of the apparitions begins, which will go from the year 1944 to the year 1949. In this same period of the apparitions, the Virgin comes to tell Pierina: “She lives with love.”

This is the mission that comes to be entrusted to him, to live from love and for love. The subsequent years became years of great provocations and much suffering. It is a long period of waiting from the year 1949 to the year 1960, that is to say 11 years of time.
